A day kids can read by themselves.
Kids mode is part of Famino: kids with the child role see their own view, while the parents plan in the same family calendar, in sync for everyone.
Their own day
The day as a path: earlier on the left, later on the right, and whatever is happening now is shown large. Events, school lessons and meals run along it.
School and homework
School lessons are on the day path, homework among the child's tasks. And the next holidays count down too, 47 days to go in the demo family.
Check off tasks
Next to every task is a circle: one tap, and it's checked off. The bar above keeps count until everything is done.
Parents stay in charge
Parents create the kids' accounts. The family budget, family management, subscription and settings are locked for kids.
Even without their own phone
Kids without their own device can be added as members without an account. They are still part of the plan.
Adding things themselves
A child can create an event or a task: what, when, at what time. With big tiles instead of scroll wheels, without money and without scanning.
Three looks at a child's day.
This is what kids mode looks like in Famino, with Lisa as the example: the morning, a task and the moment everything is done.

Done today, tomorrow in sight.
In the evening, the path shows what's over: checked-off stops and, at the end, “Day done”. At the top, it says “All done for today! Nothing left for today”.
Three days are the whole sense of time: yesterday, today, tomorrow. In the evening, a child asks what's on tomorrow and flips one day ahead. No menu, no week, no month.

Questions about kids mode
How do kids take part?
Kids get their own account with the child role and see a kid-friendly view with their events, school lessons and tasks. Parents manage the content and can remove a child account at any time.
What don't kids see?
The family budget, family management, the subscription and the settings. The remaining budget, weather and activity feed are also left out of the child's day.
Can kids see their school grades?
Yes, if your family has Premium and the timetable has subjects for the child. Under “My grades”, they see the latest grade and the average for each subject. Only the parents can enter and change grades.
Does my child need their own phone?
No. Kids without their own device can be added as members without an account, and they are still part of the plan. Kids mode is for kids with their own account.
